Runswick Bay is located on the North Coast of the UK about 9 miles north of Whitby,
Although most of the fishing boats have now gone, Runswick still boasts a beautiful beach that has been voted best in the UK for beach combing. The beach is covered in fine sand and the rockpools to the north are full of life and interest. There are many great walks in the area including the Cleveland Way which passes the house.
